Foot strengthening and running mechanics

    Very interesting results from Taddei et al . The results show no significant strengthening effect but significant increase in intrinsic muscle volume . Improvements in foot function were correlated to increase in intrinsic muscle volume .
    This teaches towards the idea that intrinsic foot muscle volume as well as
    strength , is important to foot function .
