I think the title says it all. It is silly season and all our lovely patients wish to present their friendly pods with chocolates and home made baking delights!

For those of us who are sat on our rear ends all day! What do you do to shift the blubber when Mr Arthur Itis has set in and your knee surgeon says its time to stop running!!

Sadly i still have an abundance of female hormones and cannot resist the chocolates nor have the urge to donate them!!

How can one have their cake and eat it!!

It is not the chocolate but the starch and sugar. Maby set out some articles in the waiting room on how good nuts are for health. Good fats help you metabolize the fat build up from starch and sugar.

One of my patients brings me fruit! Is she implying I need it and not chocolate? It certainly is a refreshing change.I had to spend a few moments on-line to work out how to eat a Sharon fruit the other day.

You may find benefit from swimming. Great exercise and good for the joints. Avoid breast stroke as I believe it is not good for the knees.

    Happy Holidays

Yeah fruit would be great!!! instead of the abundance of choccies and biscuits!

I also would have to you tube how to eat Sharon Fruit! Sadly nuts are a no no, too many nut allergy people around these days!

Sadly i can only do breaststroke!! I do go on the cross trainer but its too damn hot at the moment. Just walking at the mo but so god damn boring!

So instead of sitting on your tushie all day, work while standing and bend a lot. Works wonders for the waistline. Put the candy out for all to share.
