    Hi

I have been looking at the Visa A questionnaire used in relation to treatment outcomes of Achilles tendinopathy injuries. I am wondering if anyone has heard of it being used for other low leg conditions. For example, Plantar Fasciopathy.

Whilst I appreciate the Visa A is validated for the Achilles is it a complete no no to apply it to PF situations as it too is described as an "opathy"?

    Thoughts or suggestions appreciated.

The VISA-A is quite specific to the achilles tendon - if I recall correctly there are some specific questions in it that only related to the achilles tendon (though I stand to be corrected) - if this is the case, then it probably can't be used for other lower limb problems.
I know it has been shown to be valid and reliable for achilles tendon problems.

If you want something for plantar fasciitis, then just use the Foot Health Status Questionnaire of the Foot Function Index - they both have been widely used in plantar fasciitis studies.
