    Might not be so weird as it sounds - one of the mainstream treatments for SUI is percutaneous electro-stimulation (electroacupuncture) of the tibial nerve, which comes from a traditional Chinese Medicine treatment protocol for the same condition. So, I guess the APOS system (or another orthoses) could have a hypothetical effect on the tibial nerve.
