5th metatarsal fracture - night symptoms

    hi! I've broke my 5th metatarsal 2,5 weeks ago, images from the injury day are attached to this post. I've seen the podiatrist same day and she prescribed me a walking boot and a follow-up visit in 4 weeks for the X-ray and evaluation. she said I should take the boot off at night and I can walk for a while based on a pain level. she also said that the injury is pretty much in a good shape and it will take 6-8 weeks to heal, and that limited blood supply in this area might delay healing.
