I am looking to improve my Biomechanics knowledge after a few years out of the game so to speak, after having my kids etc. Can anyone point me in the direction of some good reading material/courses (online would be good) to to get me up to speed with the latest Biomechanics thinking and refresh my memory? I live offshore so getting to courses isn't so easy for me really. Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Hello!

Have you been on Portal Education Online?... it is an online education site which you can buy lectures, presentations etc through. Have a look at the Clinical Biomechanics Boot Camps by Craig Payne. I have not personaly purchased it yet but hoping to in the next couple weeks. I have heard that it is very good. If you find anything else please let me know!

    Hope this helps :)

There is the online Boot Camp option from Portal; but at this stage I might be doing a Boot Camp in London late October (It will be the only UK pone this year).

Craig, where can we find out if and when you decide that you will do the boot camp? I think it would be fantastic if you did!

    Thanks :)

I would LOVE to get to that Craig but I live off of the north coast of Scotland, have 2 little boys and a husband who works offshore so travel availability/affordability are not great for me. Someday! For now, the portal is just perfect.

I have just finished watching Biomechanics Bootcamp 2 on the Portal website and it was brilliant. Thank you for the recommendation! I have learned an incredible amount from this course and I'm sure I will refer back to it. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone wanting to refresh their biomech knowledge and update.
