Broken big toe, no range of movement

    I broke my big toe five weeks ago. Two things I have learned: what fracture blisters are and what they look like, and that fractures are measured in pieces. My toe was broken into three pieces by two fractures. I foolishly walked around on it for a week before getting it looked at. Since then, I have been in a boot.

    Early on, I noticed that I could not move my toe more than a centimeter above the ground, and that it tended to droop if I took my foot off the floor. I'm not actually supposed...
