Bump on inside of heel

    I am a 51 year old male, a few kg overweight, not obese...and moderately active (Imhave a desk job). Started walking hills (approximately 3km per day) after years of sedentary nonactivity. A few days ago, I developed a large semi-hard bump on the inside of my heel bone. It is not painful on the lower portion of the bump...however, the upper side of the bump is painful when pressed. I wear custom orthotics as I am an over-pronator...

    I originally thought it was achilles tendonitis, but...
