Looking for a full time or part time energetic podiatrist for a diverse role with a detailed biomechanical focus, amongst a friendly team of sports podiatrists. The job will be balanced with other specialist podiatry areas within a motivated and vibrant private practice which has an established referral base from surrounding medical centres, sports doctors, physiotherapists and orthopaedic surgeons.

The successful podiatrist will see a broad range of patients promoting progression, development and the opportunity to specialise in areas of interest such as paediatrics, biomechanics/orthotic therapy, diabetes and nail surgeries.

Those that are interested in taking their careers further there is potential to get involved with the growth and development of the practice. Salary plus incentive bonus and education bonus is our common method of payment but the practice is flexible to the applicant?s preference and dependent on the podiatrist?s experience and knowledge but open to negotiation. Salary in the $60-$70K mark initially with the view to increase in line with performance. The applicant?s time can be shared amongst either of the two practice locations with the scope to step into a part ownership role if motivated. Time and detailed tutoring opportunity is allocated for CPD and regular in house professional development.

Come and be part of the podiatry practice of the A.C.T Brumbies, junior Canberra Raiders and numerous local sporting teams. We are located in the heart of Canberra city with a short walk to the CBD and local shops. There is on-site parking and no traffic to contend with like Sydney or Melbourne and the snow fields and beaches are close enough to visit for a day trip or a weekend get-away.

    Essential criteria for this role:
? A qualification in Podiatry and current registration with AHPRA.
    ? Professional indemnity insurance.
? Strong communications skills with a friendly, caring manner.
? The ability to successfully work independently and as part of a team.
? A strong attention to detail and time management, whilst maintaining an impeccable caring service.
? Report writing skills for referring practitioners.
