    Hello,

I am Lieneke and I am a migrant from The Netherlands. I have a Dutch qualification as a Chiropodist in The Netherlands. I worked there for 4 years as a sole trader and for home care organizations. Apart from basic foot care, I also treated diabetic patients.

I have tried to get any recognition for my diplomas or recognition of prior learning at the podiatry board or the podiatry courses in South Australliia. Their response was nil, redo your total course here in Australia and forget about your overseas qualifications.

Does anybody have any positive experience? I like to know.

    Cheers,

    Lieneke

    Lieneke,

recognition of overseas qualifications is handelled by the Austrailan Podiatry Council, not be the individual state registration boards
