Diabetes awareness workshop July 14th

    To mark Diabetes awareness week 2016.

    We have an event planned at the Northern Health Education and Research Facility, July 14th, Cooper st Epping.

    Keynote speaker for the afternoon event is Jaap Van Netten, Scientific Director of Diabetic Foot Australia.

    Open to all allied health staff, RSVP July 4th, hope you can make it.

    l know we said RSVP 4th of July, but space is filling fast, so book soon rather than miss out

    Thanks to all those that attended and those that couldn't make it, we will try and give more notice next time around.

    Interesting comments from Jaap Van Netten
    "...in Germany, insurance system are considering to only fund offloading/shoes when objective measurements are taken. However, I'm not sure what the current status of that one..."

    So why aren't we doing it here? It makes sense and may save limbs and lives.

    We have taken this approach, long ago at our facility
