I'm hoping someone will be able to tell me if they know of any orthopedic surgeon anywhere (but preferably Sydney or Canberra) who would perform an interposition arthroplasty for hallux limitus. My preference would be to send this (young lady) client of mine to a podiatric surgeon but she is unable to pay the fees involved and is looking to surgery in the public system.

I'm disillusioned and frustrated with orthopedic surgeons who insist on fusing 1st MTP joints.

Any feedback or advice greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Marc
