    Hi all,

Now that we have access to prescribing nationally after many years of lobbying, when will the PBS access roll in and further more when will the state and territory posions act be changed so we can prescribe everywhere?? Is there any political discussion? I assume the APodC are heavily lobbying for this? There is just no news floating about

PBS will take another year or two.

It took the optometrists 4-5 years after the first endorsed practitioners, and nurse practitioners a similar time frame. So seeing we have only had wide spread prescribing for just over a year, it may be a while.
