Foot ulcer and risk for osteomyelitis

    Foot ulcer and osteomyelitis

    Dear All,

    I have read somewhere that the risk of osteomyelitis increases after the ulcer has been present for 12 weeks/3 months. Does anyone out there have a reference for that inforamtion/data? Thanks

    Hello i think we have to do an x - ray after one month to look for osteomyelitis
