French podiatrist looking for a podiatrist assistant position in Sydney.

Hi,

I am a young French podiatrist, who has worked for 2 years as a podiatrist in a private practice in Paris. I am looking for work as a podiatrist assistant in Sydney and I have a couple of questions.

1) How common is it for podiatrists to employ assistants in Australia? Are assistants mostly employed at large practises?

2) Does anyone know of a podiatrist looking for an assistant? I am based in the Eastern suburbs but can commute to anywhere within 10km of the CBD.

I have been living in Australia for a few years and now have PR. I am planning to take the ANZPAC exams later this year to get my registration but would like to get some experience in an Australian practice before I take my exams.
