    Podiatrist Required:

BRISBANE, QLD – Looking for a challenge? The Podiatry Practice (www.podiatrypractice.com.au) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic podiatrist to join our well-established practice, which is located in a specialist medical centre in inner city Woolloongabba.

Our modern practice provides a full scope of conservative, biomechanical and surgical general practice services, with a particular emphasis on high risk diabetic foot assessment and complex care.

The position also involves a weekly clinic at the Queensland Diabetes Centre, located in the Mater Hospitals campus opposite our practice – so experience and a high degree of understanding diabetic foot assessment and care is desirable.

Our practice is fully computerised, with computerised record keeping, gait analysis and diagnostic equipment, and in-house therapeutic footwear dispensing. Mentoring from an experienced podiatrist will be available, along with subsidised continuing podiatric education. Newer graduates and experienced podiatrists are welcome to apply.

A salary and bonus structure will be negotiated with the successful applicant commensurate with experience. The position will ideally commence at the beginning of May, 2009 – though some flexibility may be possible. Applications and enquiries, along with CV, should be emailed in the first instance to: anthony@podiatrypractice.com.au
