    Hello

I am putting a posting out there for Podiatrists in Victoria who are looking for a new position in a healthcare setting :)
    :dizzy:

I currently work in the Grampians employed by a local hospital and work alongside a Senior Podiatrist.

Currently looking for a Podiatrist to compliment our team and would be a great opportunity for a new grad who would like to gain more experience, although this position is open to everyone.

I have worked for the NHS previously as well as privately, and find the facilities and location superb, very modern high tech environment, electric plinths, water spraying drills with all the equipment you should need. Also have an orthotic room with all the machinery to adjust grind down orthotics etc, also happy to try any new techniques or order in equipment if needed.

The position currently advertised says temporary and four days a week, this is due to funding however most definitely will receive the funding again.

There is a private podiatrist in the area who is happy to job share and this would lead to a full working week if required, he is currently looking at setting up a clinic in the local GP practice, as well as carrying out home visits, so plenty of scope for a long term career here in the Grampians.

I have been here a year and it is the best position I have ever worked in, very flexible, not having to sell like in private practice which is very stressful as I had to do that in my first job. Your position would be working in a multi disciplinary team of allied health, covering the hospital, aged care facility community centre as well as outreach.

Melbourne is approx 2 and half hour drive away so not far away, and there are plenty of activities locally if you enjoy hiking, eating out and good coffee.

Please contact me if you would like further details and I can point you in the right direction.
