As of today (Jan 8), Podiatry Arena's membership stands at 5846. To get it to the 6000 barrier we have decided to run a competition to get it to the 6000.

The Podiatry Arena member who makes the biggest contribution getting it to 6000 will win the 160G iPod Classic (apparently its the top of the line model - its worth ~$350US). More on the iPod here.

How do you get in to win?
When a new member registers, there is a box they have the option of filling out to say who referred them to Podiatry Arena (they have to fill out the exact user name). If you see Craig Payne's public profile, he has 109 referrals. That is 109 new members have written his name in the referral box.

The competition to win the iPod is for members to get as many referrals as possible until we hit the 6000 mark. The member with the most referrals will get the iPod (we can track this in the systems back end). Only referrals from today onwards will count.

To make it easier for the referral, we have added a modification to the UserCP (control panel). If you click on your UserCP, you will see a message that says "Invite your friends to join our forum by linking them here via the following link". Just email that link to as many people as you know, asking them to register by clicking on it (that way, your user name is autmatically populated into their registration form).

    How can you do this?
Email as many people as you know who you think would benefit from being a member. Send them the link from your UserCP

    Some rules
Podiatry Arena staff are not eligible
We can detect duplicate registrations, so don't try it
    Our decision is final
