I am just really wondering if there would be any interest for a locum in Kalgoorlie in WA.

I am forward planning a little, as I am going to be going off on maternity leave in July/August time, and would be looking for someone to cover my clinic, for at least 6 months with the possibility of extension.

It is a hospital based clinic, which has 3 multi-disciplinary diabetes clinics a month. It is classed as a high risk position.

If anyone has any queries or is interested just give me a private message. I would hate to think I have built up a clinic that wont be covered:bang:

Here are a few web sites about Kalgoorlie just in case anyone is interested!!!

    http://www.kalgoorlietourism.com/visitkalgoorlie.asp

    http://www.kalbould.wa.gov.au/

    http://www.kalminer.com.au/Regionals.aspx?MenuId=237

The hospital here would provide accomodation for the Podiatrist at a subsidised rate, so you wouldnt have to find accomodation.

There are plenty of leisure facilities, it has a 50m pool and they are currently in the process of developing a wave machine!!!! http://www.goldfieldsoasis.com.au/

Have a nose through the websites, and if anyone fancies a little change, give me a shout.

Just bumping this back up to the top again :)!!! I would love to get this position filled prior to me going off on maternity leave.
We have started more multi-disc diabetes clinics, and the service is in great demand here in the goldfields.

Back again!!!!! If anyone is looking any way interested in this post, I am going off on maternity leave from 1st August 2008, til the 14th April 2009!!! Ideally we would love someone to start here in July, so that a hand over can be done.

It is a great clinic, and has become a busy one!!!
