Isobel Adams passed away recently .

She was a Fellow of the Society and taught for many years at the Edinburgh School of Chiropody . She will be known to many in this capacity but was also with the assistance of her father, the technical proof reader for the first edition of Neal's Common Foot Disorders (1981). Common Foot Disorders in its various forms now represents one of the most popular bench text used worldwide. I worked with Isobel for a decade and she was always modest about her contribution to her profession, loved and cared for her students, and a fun loving colleague. We did enjoy a good laugh.
