Why is there no work in Glasgow?

Is Glasgow the worst place to find podiatry work? I have never been unemployed until I tried to find work here. I haven't even seen any jobs advertised. Does anyone else have the same problem? I search on NHS website, Gumtree, etc but no jobs at all!

It's most likely because it has one of the main podiatry schools in Scotland, so graduates tend to stay in this area & setup private practice & fill jobs.

    Hi Tibial,

I agree with JK Boyd, Its almost impossible to get a Pod job in Glasgow. I graduated in Glasgow 2009 had to commute to Fife for a year to setup privately then moved to South East England for an NHS job.

    Good Luck!
