5th metatarsal fracture - dancers fracture

    Hi! I broke my 5th metatarsal 6 weeks ago. Per podiatrist it was a dancers fracture (though from what I can see online it doesn't appear to be one). I have been non weight bearing for the last 6 weeks in a boot with crutches. I had x-rays yesterday and x-rays showed little to no bone regrowth. I still have swelling (minimal) and bruising. The podiatrist said I could start to weight bear but I still feel pain. I have another appointment to go back in 5 weeks for another round of xrays....
