I am retiring my academic position in 2010 and will be available for locum work Australia wide - subject to my traveling schedule. If anyone is interested in a 4-6week locum (perhaps so that they are able to travel), leaving their practice in the hands of a very conservative and very widely read practitioner, contact me privately on oh8@bigpond.com. The timing of any such locum will be seasonally dependent. Rob Kidd

Hi Heather, I cannot place you - but that is typical of me. Glad to hear from you. We will be on the road from June 2010 thru to March 2011 and will be interested in doing locum work if we are in the right place at the right time. This will be ongoing for perhaps 5 years. If you wish a locum, then I am happy to talk. I make the arrogant assumption that you know me. I am an incredibly conservative practitioner, aged 54 who is interested in simple palliative care. I know all the bio stuff - taught it for years - ruffled a few feathers along the way! I have a PhD in foot anatomy - if that is relevant at all. We live in a Winnebago - and would need to be able to live in your drive - or whatever. We have a Staffie - where we go, she goes.
    Let me know. Rob
