Advice for overseas podiatrists seeking Australian accreditation
As from 1-01-10 changes to Australian Immigration regulations require that those seeking accreditation as podiatrists (as well as other skilled professionals) in order to work in Australia, must obtain accreditation prior to applying for an Australian visa. Applications for accreditation and a visa may no longer be lodged concurrently. Podiatrists continue to be very welcome as we have a shortage of workers with podiatry skills.
