PART TIME PODIATRY BUSINESS FOR SALE: CAIRNS, NORTH QUEENSLAND

2 Days a week regular contracts in Cairns and surrounding area for sale due to re-location.

The work consists of regular contracts that have been built up and renewed over the past 3 years. There is a mix of regular home visits, residential home contracts, disabled unit contract, and community care contracts.
Most are based in the Cairns area with only 2 being more than an hours drive from Cairns .
Last financial years gross income was $49,000 for 2 days work. The income is from regular 4 and 8 weekly contracts. My nett income was $39,000.
The only overheads are fuel costs and car use, and whatever is spent on dressings etc.
Most of the contracts include a travel expense on top of the rate and most are set rates for the day or hourly rates.
I do not advertise and all contracts have been from word of mouth so plenty of room to expand and grow the business.
I also have a Gait Lab set up in my garage at home which consists of a Footpoint scanner, monitor, camcorder, walkway and relevant software for custom orthotic design. I even have a false wall separating half of my garage off which can be dismantled and included in the sale.
There is also a grinder, workbench, heat gun, orthotic materials, and possibly a treadmill (if required).
The equipment has a value of $20,000.
As part of the sale there is also a very good condition electric Podiatry/Physiotherapy couch and 25 sets of Podiatry instruments, nail surgery instruments, dressings etc and a glass computer table (almost new).
