Part time Podiatrist wanted to work in satellite clinics across Brisbane. New graduates welcome.
    The Role
We are seeking a casual/part time podiatrist to work independently at two separate weekly clinics based in Brisbane’s south side. You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of MSK disorders of the lower limb in both adult and paediatric populations. You will have sound knowledge of the systemic complications associated with chronic disease and competent assessment skills allowing you to identify and manage risk factors that predispose these client groups to acute foot disease. You will have great communication skills enabling you to discuss all treatment options with clients, to ensure your treatment plan aligns with their goals of care. You will be able to work well with others, engage in interdisciplinary referral and liaise with medical professions in order to communicate your suggestions for further investigation and treatment options that fall outside the professions scope of practice. Extensive training will be provided with ongoing supervision and support so new graduates are welcome to apply.

    About Us
At Moving Forward Podiatry we believe that exemplary healthcare should be provided to those who need it and should be provided in a manner that enables our clients to achieve the best outcomes for their specific goals. Moving Forward Podiatry has a very hands-on approach to care. We actively promote the use of foot mobilisation, manipulation therapy, and the use of lower limb physical therapy as a first line approach to care. We also utilise the latest 3D scanning and 3D printed technology for our custom orthotic devices when required.
We currently operate four satellite clinics throughout Brisbane based within medical centres with an additional clinic opening later this year. Our client base is made up of approximately 60% private billings and 40% Medicare funded billings, with the exception of one clinic which has a focus on diabetic foot disease prevention.
Moving Forward Podiatry is undergoing extensive growth and we are looking for a podiatrist who shares our holistic approach to health care, who has the drive to grow our company with us, and who would potentially have the capacity to increase their hours with increased demand.

    Essential criteria:
    ·Tertiary podiatry qualification
    ·Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
    ·Professional indemnity insurance
·Current National Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check
·Ability to work independently at satellite clinics (including drivers licence)
·Ability to manage high caseload, including administrative duties
    ·Excellent communication skills
·Own laptop with access to cloud based practice management system
