Podiatrist prescribing.....maybe this survey should be quoted!!!!!

    Hi All,

    Read this interesting article on 6 minutes web site................... Prescribing habits/education etc of GP registrars............ very insightful.

    Perhaps this survey should be used and quoted to illustrate that the education/teaching of prescribing medicine can be achieved through various means, the most common of which is perhaps "on the job training"

    Isn't this a similar framework used by Podiatrist to qualify for prescribing rights? Seems very similar to me, yet the AMA opposes prescribing right for us.........................

    I also read that yesterday - I think this is what the Government means when it tells the AMA to:

    "Gets in own house in shape before being critical of others"
