    The Opportunity:

    Encara currently have a need for a Podiatrist based in the Brisbane area. We are looking for somebody to service aged care facilities permanent part time *You will be paid per resident and the list will be a minimum of 26 per day with extra remuneration for extra travel days.

    You will be required to:

     Assess and diagnose existing and new conditions in order to provide individually tailored holistic treatment plans.

     Alter and adapt*management*plans based on patient chronic disease progression.

     Maintain up to date and accurate records.

     Provide diabetic assessment and review.

     Chronic disease and wound care management.

     Maintain good communication and feedback to onsite senior staff and team manager

     Able to initiate new medical plans with Nursing staff or GP?s

    About you:

     Available 5 day fortnight

     Holds full AHPRA registration as a Podiatrist.

     Has sound clinical skills and knowledge.

     Has a current Australian Federal Police Clearance certificate, or gives consent for a check to be completed.*

     Holds a current, valid driver's license.

     Is able to devise and manage own individual caseload effectively.

     If you have your own instruments and steriliser, this may be an option to supplement your current income.*
