    Position vacancy: Lecturer in Podiatry, University of Newcastle, Australia

    The University of Newcastle is a world-class university demonstrating excellence in teaching and research. The University is ranked in the top four per cent (301-400) of world universities Academic Ranking of World Universities 2012 and Ranked 45th university in the world under 50 years of age in the Times Higher Education '100 Under 50' 2012. In recent years the University has doubled its research income and consistently ranks in the top 10 universities for research within Australia.

    The University is seeking an outstanding individual that has completed or is very close to completing a PhD. The person will be a key member of the team and will provide teaching, curriculum development and clinical supervision for the undergraduate Podiatry program. The successful candidate will also be required to participate in research programs that attract external funding.

    The role will be based at the Ourimbah Campus and is available on either a full-time or part-time ongoing basis. Ourimbah is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales. A one hour drive north of Sydney, the Central Coast is famous for its pristine surf beaches, lush valleys, tranquil lakes and rainforests.

    Academic Level B $80,895 to $96,064 per annum, plus a generous employer superannuation contribution of 17%.
