Well maybe not the footballers themselves but within the field. I can understand the thought of working with half of them unappealing!

    Hi,

It's worth broading the chosen sports activity to running (any running activity), and possibly shadowing a private physio clinic. Though my opinion it's a tricky grey area to score good percentage points in your project. I don't think there will be enough journals covering podiatric interventions to assist sports related injury (though I could be wrong).
It's usually a difficult subject to score points on - tutors and lectures are looking at podiatry involvement in studies. Try to opt for the easier option, look at studies that relate to injuries and orthoses intervention.
Keep it simple and search for similar studies through science direct and base them around your choice!

Everything in podiatry is biomechanics. What else is there? Fungus?

    Bel,

As a potential for quote of the year, I'm going to take what you have written out of context to satisfy my own juvenile humour

I can just see all the antimicrobial peptides getting their infintesimally small mobile phones out and putting you in speed dial!

BTW - big fan of your new avatar and signiture......and of course the Daily Mash

A lot of podiatry dermatology is biomechanics of skin. I did, but I shouldn't have belittled the remainder of dermatology.;)

  12. Please help! Anyone out there willing to help me rewrite my dissertation,? I have been writing up and failed at first attempt . Really need someone who knows what they are doing and I will pay for their time and input. Really desperate as my tutor is not helpful just pulls my work apart from the very start and communications are limited to email as it is a distance learning MSc Podiatry course. I really need help...

You want to pay someone to rewrite your masters dissertation for you?

  14. Why not? I have done all the work but it needs another qualified persons input as not only had I failed at first attempt, my tutor isn't very helpful, I work as a lone practitioner and have no colleagues to confide in... Not trying anything dodgy just want practical help which I cannot get at Uni. Anyone willing to help.?

Was I on mind-bending drugs last night, or is someone publicly asking to pay someone to re-write a failed dissertation?

Honey if you have failed, you have failed. Pick yourself up, dust yourself down and get on with it. IF (BIG IF) someone "re-wrote" your dissertation and you passed, would you feel good about yourself? if the answer's yes, then bully for you.

But if you are asking for help to help you re-write your dissertation yourself, then I would ask in different terms, because I would be concerned if I was you as your academic leaders may become alerted to this rather ambiguous request.

  16. How much you willing to pay?

  17. Never had to ask for help before so an hourly rate whatever is feasible ? What would one expect to be paid?
    :boohoo:
Hey I was just asking for help as this academic stuff has caused my marriage break up, I don't sleep, I feel I'll and am not getting help from my university tutor to complete this. I have done all the work just need someone's else's eyes and input to steer me in right direction I don't call that cheating, I just need help, as a lone practitioner with no colleagues just asking for help is thattoo much to ask???????

  18. So your looking for a private mentor rather than someone to write the dissertation for you.

ps sorry to hear about the other stuff

It was an ambiguous question Tracy you have to admit!

On another note, I do feel for you as am currently going through the mill with my own Masters, so you are not alone, okay?

I spent 2 years putting in place what i thought was a great res prop, only for the ethics at the university to trash it, and tell me to do a systematic review.

Life is a bummer at times, but it will be worth it in the end.

    Hi Tracy,

I agree with Mike. If you`re not receiving the desired support from your uni supervisor, look for a mentor with experience in the subject you are researching to help you. It is a struggle in private practice, but there are practitioners out there who would be willingly help, if asked nicely ;).

What is the gist of of your dissertation?

    Cheers,
    Bel
