    Career Opportunity:

    An opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic podiatrist with a desire to learn, to join our team of 5 podiatrists and support staff in a well equipped and award winning practice. The clinic is located in a major regional centre, with affordable housing and no traffic jams, just 10 minutes from the beach only 4 hours drive from Brisbane. Bundaberg has a strong sports focus and a unique arts community.

    The clinic covers all aspects of podiatry including biomechanics, sports podiatry, diabetic foot care, nail surgery, routine foot care etc, with a large referral base from local GP’s, physios and orthopaedic surgeons.
    * No nursing homes or home visits.
    * Emphasis on active health promotion
    Onsite training is provided for a variety of equipment including
    - Laser
    - therapeutic and diagnostic ultrasound
    - Radial wave therapy
    - PACT
    - video gait analysis (Silicon Coach and Dartfish software)
    - pressure plate analysis (TOG Client Scan)
    - 3D Foot scanners (Langer and iOrthotic scanner)
    - Flir Thermal Imaging camera
    - Novel Pedar X in-shoe pressure measurement system.

    Each room is equipped with its own computer and practice management software. A high emphasis is placed on continuing education and podiatry promotion and an on site workshop is available for insole and orthotic construction.

    This opportunity is for a new graduate or experienced podiatrist. A generous remuneration package includes wage based on experience, time allocated to continuing education and uniform allowance.
