Hi everyone, I need some advice/help.

I have some salicylic acid with an expired use by date. I have been looking into the Special Waste Regulations website to find out how to dispose of it, but that website is a nightmare.

The product information state this: This material and/or its container must be disposed of as hazardous waste according to Special Waste Regulations 1996 or according to local regulations, in compliance with Duty of Care Regulations and Special Waste Regulations. WASTE CLASS: WASTE CODE: 0705 HAZARDOUS PROPERTY: H5

Am I safe to asume that I could put my salicylic acid in the yellow bin?

I would really appreciate any information/ help on this. Thanks.

Here we can take medications to a pharmacy and they will dispose of it.

    Hi
If you take it back to the Pharmacy that dispensed it, then they should dispose of it,

    regards
