    Hi guys

any suggestion in regards to below concern. I did a PNA without phenol on a 16yr old 35kgs. However after the surgery and follow up the medial side was sore even after two weeks post op and infected despite proper review and care. The indication of significant pain on the side was possibly that the nail spike was not treated properly so I applied anaesthetic and re cleared the side. The second procedure was done after a month of initial surgery. It has improved since then but the side is still slightly sore after two weeks past the procedure. Please advise wether I should get another colleague look at my patient or send her for an ultrasound?

At two weeks, I would not be too concerned about it. give it a bit longer.
