Hi just back from Hamilton Island and the Sports Med Conference.
Only bad bit is shocking sun/wind burn from a trip out to Whitehaven Beach!:bang:
    Think one would learn.

I thought the conference was well done?

    Pod/foot area's good.

    Just wondering what others thought.

Was great to see so many pods up there.

    Cheers

I thought it was a great conference Heather. I also got a bit burnt out at Whitehaven beach and when we went snorkeling.

I thought the foot/ankle and Achilles tendinopathy sessions were fantastic as well as Craig Purdam's keynote and workshop.

It was good to see so many pods there and also meet so many people from a range of sports med disciplines.

I actaully found it a bit disappointing in comparison to an earlier one in Melb (3 or 4 yrs ago). The sessions I attended were good, but there was only 3 or 4 that directly related to podiatry...............but the location was great!!

We were up there and had a PORTAL trade display (thanks to everyone who came up and said hello from Podiatry Arena). We thought it was a neat little conference, small in comparison to what we are used to but many varied papers and presentations.

Great to see a Podiatrist take out a poster award - congratulations Verona.
