Has anybody used a secure email service such as Argus or medical objects with Frontdesk?

Have been using Argus for several years as all the GP clinics in our area use it. We have had no issues with it in regard to receiving GP referrals and sending replies via this system. But note you must integrate it with MS Word as the Front Desk word processor won't allow you. It's just a simple copy and paste routine to get your GP letter from Front Desk to Argus. Argus will also saves you on postage!

    Thanks Obelix

I'll look into Argus a bit more.

We have been using Medical Objects for over 3 years now. We like the ease, most reports are with the GP before the patient has left, there is a record of the report being sent and received, and it is encrypted. Saves time and money!

    Hi Jo BB

How does medical objects integrate with Frontdesk? Do you need to copy and paste into MS Word like Argus?

    Regards

    Tim

We create a word document which can then be opened in the Front desk "patient attachments" and saved.
    Hope that helps!

    Kind regards,

    Jo

    Hi Jo

We went ahead with Medical Objects. Very easy to use. Only problems was all the tags created in Frontdesk documents couldn't be copy & pasted into the word template (they had to be manually typed again) but it runs very smoothly. Hopefully no more postage costs.

    Thanks for your recommendation.
