Does anyone know if the CEO of The Society of Chiropodists & Podiatrist is an HCPC Registered Podiatrist? The CEO is Jo Brown...(female).

I have no idea, but why do you think it is an issue?

I would have thought that the CEO is not a HCPC registered podiatrist as a pod would probably not have the skill set of appropriate management and administrative skills to be the CEO of such an organisation.

Can you give us some compelling reasons as to why the CEO should be a Podiatrist?

I do not know for sure, but I am under the impression that the "CEO" of every peak podiatry body worldwide is not a podiatrist.

The CEO's of the national body and all state associations in Australia are not Podiatrists.

The OP did not state that they cared if the CEO was/was not a podiatrist... The OP was simply asking if anyone knew the answer - to which I do not.

    Thank you Mr2Pod.......

The thing is because the Accreditation Register for HCPC Registered Podiatrist (so the public can search the register to find a HCPC Podiatrist near them) comprises of a number of people who are no longer on the HCPC Register, surely this is not protecting the public......So if she was HCPC Registered, what happens (left as an open question).......

For the record I am not and never have been a podiatrist, which is why my name does not appear on the HCPC register!
