PPG toe pressure testing

    hi all, just need some indication the different pressure when testing with a PPG pressure monitor as I am new to this form of dopplar testing. I was told that below 50 is bad, over 75 is sufficient and over 100mmHg is great. Your feed back would be appreciated. Cheers Tony

    Tony,
    you should also be looking at at Toe Brachial Pressure index, where below 0.5 is a problem. and below 30mmHg healing is highly unlikely to occur.

    Also search pod arena for articles on ABI's, TBI's etc. which will give you more info.
