Vacancy: Chiropodist/Podiatrist - Sheffield

    A vacancy has arisen for a UK qualified Chiropodist/Podiatrist, to operate in a busy City Centre Clinic in Sheffield.

    The post will require the candidate to deliver routine foot care, assess foot conditions, treat appropriately and refer to Allied Health Professionals if indicated.

    The clinic operates in the City Centre of Sheffield and the position will require you to work within the clinic hours. Clinics run from 0900-1730 hrs, Monday to Friday and 0900-1300 hrs on Saturday. The clinic does not open on Bank Holidays. The position will include weekend work.

    Essentials:

    You must be a UK qualified Chiropodist/Podiatrist and be a member of a professional body, have insurance and be registered with the Health Professions Council. If you have been qualified for more than 18 months you must be able to demonstrate that you have continued your professional development.

    The clinic, with a modern and friendly approach is supported by administrative staff. The clinic will see a wide variety of patients from routine foot care, through to nail surgery, biomechanics and custom made orthotics (which will be made on site), nail reconstruction and steroid injection therapy.

    The current position is part-time (30 hours per week) with the potential to move to full-time hours. Salary is negotiable depending upon experience.
