Let's be very honest about this.

Similar national companies pay their Podiatrists a flat wage of approx $75K a year, to treat, on average, 20-25 patients each day in an aged care facility. There is minimal support, you are responsible for writing all patient notes, and autoclaving instruments at home. You are even responsible for completing all DVA/EPC paperwork yourself, and submitting it to the company. All the company does, is basically hold the contract with the ACF.

A simple calculation, given this workload, reveals that the total billings generated by the Podiatrist are approximately $170+K a year. What is the point, of working like a beaver, so that someone who never even steps foot in an ACF to help you, can drive around in their new Mercedes.

Given this situation, it might be fair, if the Pod was paid a percentage rate, of 50-60% of the total billings generated. But this is not the case.
