You can microwave my socks

    A lot of press stories today on a related story:
    Now you can zap germs with your microwave...
    Looks like you can possibly 'sterilise' your socks as well as warm them. Microwaving the kitchen sponge sterilies it, so why not socks?

    2007 is looking up and I can debug my socks by microwaving them and put my Crocs in the bar fridge overnight in the full knowledge it will kill off the microbes.
