    Hi all,

Having worked for nearly 18 years in the NHS I've started browsing this site as a way to wake up some dead brain cells...I've suceeded in making my head hurt, which has got to be a good start! :D

As someonw who's worked soley in the NHS, I'm interested in a fairly diverse range of subjects, including diabetes, rheumatology, the structure and function of the NHS, the role of Podiatry Assistants etc. Biomechanics interests me and confuses me in pretty equal measures so I'm revising old stuff and trying to update my knowledge.

This place seems a lot more civilised than some Podiatry forums I've had a look at so..erm..thanks!

NHS = National Health System? (just guessing...)

Sorry but some of us are from other countries (I'm a new member from Spain) and get a little confused with all the acronyms... it will take me some time to learn them all but I will try hard! :boxing:
