New Verruca Pedis 'Wonder Tx?'

I have been introduced to a simple 'supplement' by someone. It happened that her daughters numerous intractable verrucae pedis had not responded to any treatment we had tried.

But it soon cleared after she put her onto a tonic that is described as a dietary supplement. It claims to be an immune system enhancer, normal memory function supporter, and an improver of stamina and endurance. Apparently it is very popular with all and sundry in parts of Europe.

Anyway, I have trialled it on all my subsequent vp pts over the last 2 years and every one of them has had resolution within 30 days. Some have been large, exquisitely tender, and numerous. At first I tried 'normal' treatment but now I go straight for the tonic/tablets as it has been so effective.

As this is still anecdotal and not really a large enough sample size with any control subjects, I am asking anyone out there with a hankering for a research project to get in contact with me and we could go to the suppliers for a large enough supply to get us through a statistically significant amount of participants.

I am not a researcher's back pocket so I would love it if someone, who can do this type of thing, would take the ball and the credit.

The Wonder Tx is called 'Strath.' It's from Switzerland. Also known as 'Bio-Strath AG.' It comes in tablets and tonic.

Strath is available for animals, and the supplier is someone who treats equestrian horses so don't panic about the 'vet' in the name!

The website claims it's also a Rx for ADD / ADHD in children. Apparently it's had heaps of scientific efficacy testing, but no mention of where or by who? Ingredients list reads like your basic multivitamin & mineral. You wouldn't happen to be involved with this through network marketing channels per chance?

 

Just found Bio-Strath on Amazon:santa2:. I might suggest it to a pt who is having a rough time with a stubborn VP but would I get in trouble with HPC for recommending something unproven?

 

Isn't Bio-Strath the same thing that Tiger Woods has been taking for the last few years?? Remarkable medicine!!

No I'm not on any marketing thingymajig. As I said earlier, I would like someone who has a hankering for research to go ahead and run with it. There is scientific journals but I have either given the handout to a patient or I have misplaced it during renovations.

And yes it is a vit/mineral supplement but it doesn't say it is anything else. As for the claims for what it could do-research it so your derisory comments can be factually based.

That is not how science works as you should know. If somebody makes a claim for something it is not for the community to proove it wrong, but for the claimant to prove it right.

For example. I hereby make the claim that I **** pearls and piss fine wine. Can I expect you to beleive me? Of course not. You'd think I was talking rubbish and you would be right to do so. If I want you to believe me I have to do the work and prove I DO. I can't just say "well if you want to scoff you have to PROVE I don't have a toilet full of chateau neuf de pap.".

That is how science works. Claims made without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.

12 weeks, 3 days, 4 hours and 39 minutes post op, but who's counting?
I'm doing very well, thank you. Still a slight limp, but I'm working hard on ROM and strength. It "should" be as good a new (some day!)

Been quite busy, as I'm sure we all are this time of the year (in the U.S. anyway when deductibles are renewed in January, everyone wants surgery before the end of the year!)

It is a form of Brewer's Yeast popular in Europe. Probably very good for you in all but I wouldn't necessarily laud it is a cure all. Interesting that it actually helps people with warts. L-Lysine is claimed to help with zoster and warts but in much, much higher doses that this contains.
