Something does not seem right with this. They sound more like VP's and not corns!

....my mother always said if I have nothing nice to say then don't say it at all. I am going to keep my mouth shut.

    New? New?

I remember old Phyllis Brauer teaching this 45 years ago at the then Birmingham School of Podiatry. According to her it didn't work because it did not address the underlying factor ie. the pressure. I note that amongst other things, the abstract does not give the follow-up time period.

Agree on the underlying cause. Seems to treat callus as a one time deal!

Hmmm. It's not rocket surgery (Dinglish). The authors appear to have got into a right mucking fuddle.

They state that "giant verruca" were excluded from the study, but do not state the criteria for clinical diagnosis of "corn". Prior to application of the Cantherone potion, they "excised the calluses with a 15 blade until petechial bleeding was acheived". Why would you do that for a corn, unless it`s a "viral-corn" ;). Can`t post the full article, obviously. (Nudge me if you want a copy). However, they provide a series of photos from just one of the subjects, the lesion is on the pulp of the thumb. This is the pre treatment one. A pictures speaks a thousand words.....
