    Hi everyone
I'm nearly halfway through a FHP course at SMAE and really enjoying it. Just came across you guys who really know what you are talking about !! Have bookmarked this page and think I'll be a regular user.

    serenam,

    :welcome:

if you have a look at this thread,

    http://www.podiatry-arena.com/podiatry-forum/showthread.php?t=2055

you will see that the treatment of neuro-vascular helomae will be outside your remit as an FHP. I also doubt you will see one within your very short clinical training.

I would suggest that you do a little reading about them so that you will be able to refer them on to a Podiatrist who can treat them using caustics/local anaesthetics.

    regards

    Catfoot
