Help finding a thread. Desperate.

After literally hours of searching, and after nearly lobbing my laptop through the microsoft windows, this is my last idea.

There was a thread, a while ago, in which I had a fairly heated debate (I think it was with Mike) on the effects of wedging in the feet.

I was defending the rather shaky premise that a wedge (can't remember if it was fore, rear, varus or valgus) could in some circumstances, shift the COP away from itself. That is that a varus wedge could increase lateral pressure.

I seem to remember finding a study which showed that this happened in a minority of test subjects (about 30%).

Now I need that paper, and I can't find it, nor the thread which would link to it. :bang:

Is there ANYONE out there to whom that means ANYTHING? Who can remember the thread, or the study?

Help me obi wan kenobi, you're my only hope!

When it comes to searching Podiatry Arena, you have several options.

The worse: use the Search link in top navigation bar

The not so bad: Use the Table of Contents (tags)

The better: Use the search box in the Apture toolbar that appears at the top of the page when you scroll down (this will be uninstalled soon as Google have just purchased Apture and are discontinuing the tool bar)

The best: Use the site: operator in Google. Type in some keywords, the names of posters in the thread etc and then type site:www.podiatry-arena.com (as in my previous post)

  6. It was an interesting thread. Very varied. Bit of everything.

Nightmare to tag I should think.
