Problem with Pedar insole and ankle marker placement

    Dear all,
I am going to do a research on running and I want to measure plantar pressure using Pedar insoles and also the kinematics of lower extremity. I have a problem now! Cables attached to the insoles cover the lateral part of the ankle so I cannot put the marker on lateral malleolus. I cannot put the marker on the the cables either because in running they move a lot and sometimes they fold, therefore it`s not really accurate.
Any experience to solve the problem? I really appreciate your advice.
    All the best,
    Sobhan

Turn the insole upside down in the other foot and run the cable up the medial side of the foot.

    Dear Craig ,
thanks for your suggestion. If we turn the insole and put it in another side the cable will
be still on the lateral side! I think you mean simply put the left insole to the right shoe and right insole to the left shoe. If it`s so, we have already tried this but there are two problems:
    1) insoles do not fit completely,
    2) more important, everything is mirrored now. Being left right and right being left is not a big deal, the problem is that each sensor is now mirrored too! It makes is really complicated!
    Have you done this before?

    Cheers,
    Sobhan
