    Aloha,

    Perhaps we should work on orthotic and shoe systems that can supply an elastic element in them to compensate for this loss of elasticity.

    Carbon fiber has an excellent spring effect (modulus of elasticity) that could be utilized in these systems.

    Yes you are soo smart.

    And the foam and plastic shoe systems you sell to your patients are just fine according to your smartness...

    Please post the list of our peers that are bored perhaps we could introduce them to something new like cantilevered spring orthotic systems.

    Question--If a gait system has a decrease in overall elasticity would it therefore have an increase in negitive work required for gait?

  8. Here's the reality: pretty much every post Dr Steven King has ever made on this forum has been either an overt or covert attempt to market his product.
