It will be interesting to see that argument unfold and the 'research' results from unbiased investigation.

Are MBT's to be next followed by all the other manufacturers making similar claims? They must be gathering in their high offices for urgent damage limitation talks as I write. Do you think they might have that :sinking: feeling.

On the other hand it would be a shame if this action stopped production of such shoes, because although it appears from research that they do not improve muscle tone any better than walking in any other type of shoe, they are very useful for using as part of therapy for painful conditions with biomechanical aetiology.

I myself get great relief from debilitating sciatica type pain when walking or standing for long periods by using these type of shoe. Perhaps this theraputic benefit should be their new tack in terms of the direction of new advertising.

    Regards Dave

l cant see why they would stop the manufacturing, its not the product at fault, its the marketing of the product that is at fault

I personally have not had any experience with any of these shoes with "uneven/rocker" type soles. Just wondering if there is potential for injury when combined with poor biomechanics to start with?

    Any feedback would be great.

    Hahaha.

Instead of remaining committed to the continued development of their EasyTone line of products perhaps they should focus on producing some well designed research which shows what their products are and are not doing.

Suggestions of their number one priority being their profit margins...

Skechers are also expecting to be fined by the FTC. Here is a company statement:

  14. I say take all these toning shoe companies down a notch or two for their irresponsible and fraudulent advertising on these shoes. Their behavior won't change unless they are required to fork out millions of dollars as a penalty for making these bogus claims which have no basis in science.:boxing::butcher::hammer:
