Does Kinesio taping work?

  5. I noticed they are selling it off in T.K. Maxx at the weekend. I think that's a reasonable barometer.

    That's a bit cynical Simon. You need to watch the T.K.Maxx customers coming and going.

    I've seen the halt and the lame limping in to our local T.K.Maxx and walking out tall straight and limp free with their bag, containing the kinesio tape still in their hand!

    I'm even told that keeping a roll of it in a little alcove in you house wards off injury, aids in weight loss and increases the probability of winning the national lottery.

  33. This is now in my "too much evidence to dismiss but not enough to accept" category.

    Mode of action wise, is it possible that it works not by "lifting fascia" (which sounds like woo), but by increasing people's exteroceptive feedback? I'm thinking of those lycra jackets we use in some paediatric cp cases....
