    Hi,
I have read in an article that the radiofrequency ablation of the nail may be a method to avoid more agressive surgical procedures to treat onychocryptosis. However I have only found its use in painful nerve of the heel, nothing related to the nail.
Has somebody found some research about it, is the article wrong or it is just a new method that hasn't been demonstrated yet?
I don't know if I can post the link (first thread for me here), if I can then I'll post it later.
    Thank you

The partial nail avulsion is still going to be needed before the radiofrequncy ablation is used to destroy nail matrix. It is just going to be another way of doing it.
